SUJAWAL: The police raided private jail of a landlord and rescued 15 forced labourers here on Saturday.
On court directives, SP Sujawal Capt Retd Ameer Saud Magsi assigned the task to SHO Jati Inspector Arshad Ali Rind who along with his team raided private rail of an influential landlord Siddique Punjabi near village Jati of tehsil Jati in district Sujawal.
During operation, 15 forced labourers including women and children were rescued.
The rescued labourers would be produced in the court.
IG Sindh Syed Kaleem Imam has lauded SP Sujawal and the police team for its performance.
