Pakistan, China to continue cooperation in various fields: Samina Alvi

ISLAMABAD: First Lady Samina Alvi on Monday said that Pakistan and China are great friends and would continue cooperation in various fields.

She made these remarks while inaugurating “China-Pakistan Friendship Computer Lab” at Mohsin Murtaza Shaheed Model School for boys, G-6/4 in Islamabad.

She said that the friendship between Pakistan and China is very important and valuable. She added that the cooperation between the two countries helped maintain peace in the region.

She thanked the Chinese embassy for establishment of computer lab and said that it would provide a platform to the students for their creative writing endeavors, study and research.

She said that the institute after equipping with the latest facilities had transformed into an effective knowledge centre for the students. She said that computer lab would produce able force which would help them in getting jobs easily. The first lady asked the students to work hard as the government is spending its precious resources on their studies.

Speaking on the occasion, spouse of Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, Lou Xinyu, said that China would continue its cooperation for providing latest technology and other facilities to the Pakistani students.

Later, the first lady inaugurated a 31 computer lab equipped with advanced technology for the students.
