Aviation minister attempts to board flight using wife’s passport

Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Monday attempted to board an aircraft to Turkey using his wife’s passport but was stopped by immigration authorities at Islamabad International Airport.

However, his protocol team acted quickly and brought his passport from home to enable him to catch his flight in time.

Earlier this year, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, while going to the washroom inside an Islamabad-bound flight, fell on the ground when he suddenly lost balance due to some health issues. He received a minor injury on his forehead and was provided first-aid by a fellow passenger who turned out to be a physician. Later, upon his arrival at Islamabad, a team of doctors treated him.
