Over 30 minor boys have reportedly been raped and videotaped in Samundri in Faisalabad district, according to local news report on Saturday.
Per the report, three separate FIRs [First Information Report] have been registered against three individuals — Mohsin Ali, Ahad Jutt and Abdur Rehman — for sexually abusing young boys and documenting their perverse actions in pictures and video.
Residents of Chak 222 – where the alleged incident is said to have taken place – have said that over 30 children in the village have fallen prey to sexual abuse, the report stated.
According to the FIRs, the accused forced the victims into silence, blackmailing them with videos and photos of the abuse.
The police reportedly recovered the illicit videos and photos during an investigation which they started after an FIR was registered at Tarkhani police station. One suspect has been arrested while other members of the “gang” remain at large.
The report stated that the entire matter was brought to light after a local shop owner discovered the illicit material on the laptop of one the accused.
Tarkhani police station SHO Zafar Shahid said that the head of the gang, Mohsin, is currently out on interim bail while raids are being conducted to arrest the others.
The report further claimed that only three of the 30 victims have come forward to lodge complaints, while five victims in total have been identified.
