ISLAMABAD: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan has said that in new Pakistan no one is above the law and everyone has to follow it. The accountability process is for everyone and no one who has committed corruption will be spared, he added.
He further said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an independent institution with a very effective mechanism to confront and deter the corrupt and corruption without kowtowing to political influence of any kind.
“If anyone is innocent, whether, from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he must face the trial and prove it in the court. The era of awarding justice as per someone’s wishes has departed,” he said.
