KARACHI: Anti Narcotics Force in Karachi arrested several drug peddlers and seized a considerable amount of narcotics in separate incidents at the South Asian Port Trust and Gulshan-e-Iqbal areas of the city.
According to ANF officials around 329 kilograms of opium was seized from the South Asian Port trust leading to the arrest of one person. Further investigations on the case are being carried out, sources said on Friday
In a separate incident, ANF personnel recovered narcotics from a car in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and arrested two individuals. Narcotics in a bungalow in the same locality were also uncovered.
A week ago an ANF team had arrested two drug peddlers from Hyderabad’s Fateh Chowk and recovered nearly two kilograms of hashish and 1.7 kilograms of opium.
