LAHORE: Spokesperson to the Chief Minister of Punjab Dr Shahbaz Gill said on Wednesday that former federal minister Marriyum Aurangzeb is maligning judiciary with unfounded allegations and statements.
He further said that Rana Sanaullah is facing serious drug charges and the government has nothing to do with this case.
“Judiciary is an independent institution and works according to the law, it can’t handout verdicts based on someone’s whims,” he added.
“Marriyum should not forget that who used to phone judges to get a favourable decision. Change of judges is routine matter and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) is using it to score politically. The legal fraternity has no issue as they are well aware that how this institution works,” he said.
