SHIKARPUR: The folk singer who was kidnapped along with his band members were on Thursday night recovered from Shikarpur.
The folk singer and four of his associates were recovered by police from the city’s Garhi Teghu area.
According to IG Sukkur Dr Jameel, police had to take help of powerful Sardars in the area in order to pressurise kidnappers into releasing Jiger Jalal.
Jalal was abducted on Sunday on his way back from a television program.
