Two brothers killed over pigeon flying dispute, suspected killers held

LAHORE: Two brothers were stabbed to death over a pigeon-flying dispute in the provincial capital, police said on Thursday. Two culprits involved in the murder were arrested.

According to details, after an exchange of hot words over pigeon flying dispute between two neighbours in Satokala area of Lahore, Amjad and two others attacked their opponents with sharp-edged knives, killing Javed on the spot and injured two others including Selman and Adeel.

The body and injured were shifted to a hospital where Selman also succumbed to his wounds raising death toll to two.

The police arrested culprits involved in murder while raids were being conducted to arrest Amjad, the key accused.
