KARACHI: One person was killed and four, including women and children, were injured after the rooftop of their building collapsed in Landhi-2 area of the city in the early hours of Friday.
According to rescue sources, 17-year-old Waqas died on the spot while his sisters Sonia, aged 16, Muskan,12, Neha, 10, and his mother Salma, aged 45, were critically injured as the rooftop of their building collapsed in Landhi-2 one day area UP Church. The body and the injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively.
