ABBOTTABAD: A youth committed suicide after injuring his beloved over failure in love marriage, police said on Friday.
According to details, Abdul Rehman hailing from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and currently residing in Havelian area of district Abbottabad was in love with a local girl.
He proposed to the girl but her mother rejected the proposal.
Disappointed over the situation, Abdul Rehman shot and injured the girl when she came to a hotel along with her mother and committed suicide with the same weapon.
The body and injured girl were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and the police after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
