FAISALABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday said that Sehat Insaf Card is a gift and a blessing for the deserving persons and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government (PTI) has fulfilled another promise it made to people before forming the government.
In its initial phase, these cards were given in Faisalabad and Chiniot districts.
Addressing a ceremony at Faisalabad Medical University on Friday in connection with the inauguration of Sehat Insaf Card, he further said that the provincial government is trying its best to improve life of a common citizen by completing projects like these and this is just beginning.
Buzdar while briefing about the card said, that a cardholder can get treatment for various diseases free of cost with a limit of seven hundred thousand rupees through this card at designated private and government hospitals in the province.
1000 rupees as transport charges for reaching the hospitals will also be provided by the Punjab government.
“Hospitals in districts and tehsils are being upgraded with best health facilities so better services can be availed by citizens”, he concluded.
Provincial Ministers for Public Prosecution Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, for Excise & Taxation Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmed, Ajmal Cheema, MNAs, MPAs, Secretary Health Punjab Momin Agha, Principal Faisalabad Medical University, Doctors, Commissioner Mahmood Javed Bhatti and others were present on the occasion.
