LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that Punjab law enforcing agencies would launch joint crackdown along with Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) to cleanse the province of the menace of drugs in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
These views were expressed by Buzdar in a meeting with Minister for Narcotics Control and SAFRON Shehryar Khan Afridi who called on the chief minister here at CM Office. ANF Regional Director Lahore Khalid Mehmood Goraya, Commissioner Afghan Refugees Punjab and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Shehryar Afridi briefed the Punjab Chief Minister on the ANF campaign launched to cleanse the country of the menace of drugs. He informed the chief minister of the recent raids launched by the ANF against drug barons and told the chief minister that the cooperation from provincial governments was mandatory to make the country drugs-free.
