ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has advised Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to part ways with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, media reported.

Addressing media outside the National Assembly, Fawad said that tenancy act should be imposed on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman as PML-N and PPP have hired him on rent.

On this occasion, Fawad also condemned the arrest of MNA and Fixit founder Alamgir Khan outside the Local Government Minister office.

He further said that all the corruption cases against opposition leaders have been made during their own regimes and now crying foul is useless, instead, they should face the charges against them and if they are innocent they’ll be released by the courts.

While commenting on Imran Khan’s recent visit to the US, he said that it was a successful tour and President Donald Trump had given a clear message to India on the Kashmir issue and it should resonate with India too.
