Ivanka Trump wants to ’empower’ Pakistani women

Ivanka Trump, daughter and advisor to US President Donald Trump, on Saturday said she would like to play her part to help Pakistan women seek empowerment launching welfare projects.as well as providing youth with job opportunities.

Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari has met US President Donald Trump’s daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development announced on Saturday.

According to the ministry’s official Twitter account, Bukhari and Ivanka agreed on increasing cooperation between Pakistan and the US on various fronts.

During the meeting, the US first daughter underscored the projects would provide women with employment opportunities, vocational training and help with the economic development of the country.

Ivanka also said that she would like to help provide the youth with job opportunities in Pakistan.

During the moot, the two agreed to start cooperation between Pakistan and the US in various fields.

The special assistant lauded Ivanka for her offer to help empower women.

He also added that Pak-US cooperation will help create opportunities for human development and would provide men and women with equal opportunities.
