LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that meeting of Prime Minister Imran Khan with US President Donald Trump has paved the way for peace and stability in the region, while Imran Khan, who was accorded warm welcome, also achieved important diplomatic success during the visit.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Usman Buzdar hoped that the US President’s mediation offer on the core issue of Kashmir will play an important role in the solution of Pakistan-India disputes.
He said that it was sanguine that Pakistan-US relations were getting improved and the visit would give new impetus to the bilateral relations.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave importance to the national interest, he maintained.
The Chief Minister said that PM’s visit would help to promote trade and economic relations as well. Those who conspired to isolate Pakistan internationally have faced defeat and now they should realize facts, he added.
Usman Buzdar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was moving ahead with the new vision and Pakistan will achieve its destination of development and prosperity under his leadership.
