KARACHI: An important progress came in the murder case of Muttahida Qoumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Ali Raza Abidi, as an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday dismissed the bail pleas filed by three accused of the case.
The court heard the bail pleas of accused, Abu Bakar, Muhammad Gazaali and Farooq and announced its verdict by rejecting them.
The court remarked that there were evidences available against the accused as facilitator in the murder.
However, the police told the court that accused had facilitated the murderers in killing Abidi.
Abidi, a former lawmaker and MQM-P leader was assassinated by armed men outside his home on 25 December 2018.
