LAHORE: An accountability court on Tuesday announced to indict Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother, Khawaja Salman Rafique, on August 18 in the Paragon Housing Society case.
Judge Jawadul Hasan heard the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) reference against the former ministers who were presented in court by the bureau’s team.
During proceedings, the Khawaja brothers were provided with copies of the reference against them. The hearing was adjourned till August 18.
On December 11, the corruption watchdog arrested Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother, after the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected their request for an extension in their pre-arrest bail in the said case.
