Lawyers’ issues to be resolved, assures CM Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Monday appreciated the role of lawyers in extending their help to preserve democracy and supremacy of law in the country.

He expressed these views while conversing with Lahore Bar Association President Asim Cheema, who visited him in his office in Lahore.

Provincial Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja, secretary finance, Commissioner Lahore, CCPO Lahore, and other concerned authorities were also present in the meeting.

Buzdar said that PTI government is doing all it can to bring a change in the life of a common man.
“The lawyers’ community should be lauded for playing a very important role to provide justice to a common man and their service in this regard can’t be ignored”, he said.

He assured that being a lawyer himself, he is aware of the hurdles faced by a lawyer while practising his profession so, in this regard, in future, every help along with resources would be provided to lawyers

He announced that dispensary of Lahore Bar Association will be upgraded as soon as possible.

He asked Commissioner Lahore Division to visit that dispensary and prepare a comprehensive report for its up-gradation.

Lahore Bar President, Asim Cheema thanked CM Buzdar for being considerate and vowed that lawyers will always support the continuation of democracy in the country.
