LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif on Friday excused himself from appearing before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) due to backache.
The anti-graft body had summoned the former chief minister of Punjab at its Lahore office in cases pertaining to money laundering, assets beyond income and Lahore Waste Mangement Company.
According to sources, Shehbaz’s doctors advised him to take bed rest due to worsening back pain. An investigative team was supposed to record statements of Shehbaz Sharif in all three cases.
The PML-N chief was re-summoned because he failed to satisfy NAB in the previous hearing on July 05.
