SHIEKHUPURA: A youth, who had his earphones on, was crushed to death by a train here on Wednesday.
According to details, a youth identified as Atif, hailing from Mohallah Ghariabad of Sheikhupura, was walking on the railway track near Sheesh Mahal Bypass.
Due to the earphones, he could not hear the repeated horns of the train and was crushed to death.
The Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the body of the deceased to the hospital where it was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.
