LAHORE: The police arrested four culprits involved in the murder of a teenager after sexual abuse on Tuesday.
According to details, 15-year-old Rehan hailing from Sheikhupura used to work in a factory in Lahore.
After Eid holidays on June 10 when the boy returned back on duty, the factory was closed and the owner of the hotel situated opposite to the factory asked the youth to stay with him till the opening of the factory.
The hotel owner Rizwan alias Jagga intoxicated the youth and along with cohorts raped the teenager. Due to overdose, condition of Rehan worsened and they shifted him to Mayo Hospital on June 19, where he expired.
Taking notice of the incident, CCPO Lahore B. A. Nasir directed DIG to form a team to trace and arrest the culprit.
The police arrested four culprits involved in the crime including Rizwan alias Jagga, Rafique, Asif, and Sajjad while raids were being conducted to arrest Arslan who was at large.
