BANNU: An anti-terrorism court in Bannu on Tuesday sent Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leaders Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar to central jail of Peshawar on a 14-day judicial remand.
They will now be reproduced in the court on July 9.
Dawar and Wazir, who were elected the members of the National Assembly from North and South Waziristan, were booked after an alleged clash at the army checkpost wherein 13 people were killed and five soldiers were injured.
The National Assembly speaker has refused to issue production orders for the two lawmakers despite a number of requests from the leaders of two major political parties .i.e. Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
