Nawaz Sharif a ‘certified corrupt’ person, says Murad

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed said on Monday that the government has gathered all the evidence regarding the illegal and lavish spendings of the erstwhile leaders and each penny will be recovered from them.

While addressing members of the National Assembly in response to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s remarks, he said that we all are well aware of the kind of language used in Nawabshah and if becoming chairman of a party on a chit is considered merit then he salutes Bilawal.

He also said that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is a certified corrupt person.

Murad further said that a total of Rs340 million had been spent on Nawaz’s treatment, while Rs280.36 million had been spent on construction of Raiwind Road. A sum of Rs1 billion had been spent on the security of Jati Umra.

He told the session that PML-N leaders plundered the wealth of country mercilessly while on the other hand, PM Imran is bearing all day-to-day expenses from his own pocket.
