KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday filed a disqualification reference against Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur in the Sindh Assembly.

The application for Talpur’s disqualification was filed by PTI lawmaker Arsalan Taj.

The application stated that PPP MPA Faryal Talpur has not declared her three properties in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and requested the Sindh Assembly speaker to initiate action against the lawmaker under Article 62 (f) of the Constitution.

The application further read that Faryal Talpur has not declared her three residences, one in Larkana and two in Shahdadkot during the filing of nomination papers in ECP.

It must be noted that Faryal Talpur was elected from PS-10 Larkana.

The PPP leader was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) last week in the fake bank accounts case.
