Sindh Police issues faulty firearms to law enforcers

KARACHI: An official of Sindh Police on Wednesday unveiled the incompetence of his institute by showing the faulty and unusable weapon issued to him and his fellow officers by the department, media reported.

In an online viral video, a traffic warden can also be seen showing a faulty Sub-Machine Gun (SMG) issued to him by the department.

Officials told media that how can one expect them to save the lives of the citizen when their own lives are at risk due to the unusable weapons.

In another case, a policeman showed magazine of his weapon which was broken into two pieces and was unable to load bullets in the gun.

Police officials also told media that other than not being able to be used, these faulty weapons can also cause harm to the person operating it.
