ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to handover the Karachi package funds directly to them.
As per details, during the parliamentary party meeting held in Islamabad on Tuesday, MQM-P shared their reservations with PM Imran.
Member of Sindh Assembly Osama Qadri told his demands and asked the PM to let them handle the funds directly. Negligence of government has already taken its toll on the province, he added.
On this, PM Imran said that he will visit the metropolis soon and would also check the status of all ongoing major projects.
Back in May, a delegation of MQM-P headed by Federal Minister for Information Technology Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at his office in Islamabad.
The delegation demanded the prime minister to hold an investigation into the corrupt and illegal practice of denying the residents of Karachi and Hyderabad their due rights in government jobs.
