ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that no matter what level of hoopla Prime Minister Imran Khan’s minions create with their hooliganism and vandalism, Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif will deliver his budget criticism speech and will also ensure that this anti-people disastrous budget would not pass.

Commenting on the “utterly shameful and indecent conduct” of the treasury benches during the National Assembly (NA) session, Marriyum said that it was an embarrassment for the august house.

She said that nothing less was expected of the party that launched an assault on the parliament and cussed at the honourable house. If anything, the people of Pakistan expect the mandate thieves to stoop even lower on the direction of their “ring leader, lair and hypocrite in chief Khan”.

The former information minister said that the “selected PM” should know that if he instructs his hoard of imposed parliamentarians to resort to such rowdy behaviour, he should not complain when he is held responsible for the degeneration of the parliament. “This prime minister had promised special rewards for those who would exhibit the worst behaviour in the assembly. Such salacious orders are no surprise coming from someone who incited people to attack the national assembly and brought its gates down,” she added.

Marriyum said that PM Imran knew the truth behind this “economic suicidal budget” and is doing everything intentionally to make sure Shehbaz does not expose how this budget is a threat to the people’s survival, national economy and country’s sovereignty.

“However, all this strategy would not stop the Shahbaz from his duty of informing the people why this budget should under no circumstances be allowed to pass and come into effect,” she concluded.
