PESHAWAR: An earthquake of high intensity jolted various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Sunday but no causalities or property damages were reported.
According to geological wing of PMD, tremours measuring 4.3 on Richter scale were felt in Malakand, Swat, Buner, Bajaur, Lower Dir and district Battagram of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
People of the areas where the quake was felt rushed out of their homes and other buildings in panic reciting verses from Holy Quran and Kalma e Tayyeba. However, no causalities or property damages were reported from anywhere due to earthquake.
The epi-centre of the quake was stated to be 10 kilometer south-west of Mingora deep inside earth crust.
