LODHRAN: Two persons, including a girl, were tortured to death for honour in Lodhran on Friday, police said.
According to detail, 23-year-old Shehbaz and Parveen 20, hailing from Dunyapur district Lodhran, stated to be first cousins were in love and wanted to tie a knot.
Annoyed of the relation and the self-made decision of the two, families of the two brutally tortured them with batons resultantly both were killed.
The bodies were shifted to hospital where postmortem confirmed that the death occurred due to severe tortured.
The police after registering a case into the incident at Saddar police station Dunyapur have started investigation.
