PESHAWAR: An earthquake of high intensity jolted various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday.
According to the geological wing of PMD, tremors measuring 5 on the Richter scale were felt in Balakot, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Torghar, Swabi, Buner and Swabi.
People of the areas where the quake was felt rushed out of their homes, offices and business centers in panic.
However, no casualties or property damages were reported from anywhere due to the quake.
The geological wing said that the epicenter of the quake was west of Mansehra, 20 km from Battagram and 18 km inside earth crust.
