An Uzbek woman kidnapped from Defence Housing Authority (DHA) a few days ago was recovered from Islamabad on Sunday, police told media.
According to reports, Yelena’s captor, who was also her driver, kidnapped her from DHA on May 26. Yelena is married to a local man named Muhammad Nisar. According to her passport, she is a housemaid but was working as a babysitter.
Police further told media that they have registered a first information report (FIR) against the kidnapper who has been identified as Sohail Ramzan.
Later, police transferred the suspect and the girl to Lahore from Islamabad.
