Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday denied the presence of any kind disagreement within the ruling party Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He further went on to say that we are strong as a party and not going anywhere.
“It was agreed between us that to win as a party and a team, the most imperative thing is to make sure that Imran Khan wins. If you look around, you’ll discover where we stand in terms of progress when compared to other countries. You’ll have the idea about what has been lost in all these years.”, he tweeted.
His tweets came only a day after his statements about the unsatisfactory working of his party.
On Saturday, he talked about the issue of newly included members in PTI. He said these members are getting better positions than those who have remained and worked with the party for many years.
In an interview with a news channel, he said, “Many important decisions are being taken by the party without discussing them with us.”
In another tweet today, Fawad Chaudhry clarified that content taken out of his interview was misleading and out of context.
“Civil institutions have been destroyed completely. Nepotism is rampant in almost every institution and merit is being ignored. So, do not expect betterment in working of these institutions in the next one to two years. Prime Minister Imran Khan started with a broken system and he is trying his best to make things right.” a tweet reads.
