ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah has demanded the federal government to present the recently approved deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before parliament.

Speaking to reporters in the federal capital, Shah slammed the PTI government for ‘letting IMF deal with IMF’.

“At first, the budget was devised after consulting with IMF, but now it is IMF itself which prepares the budget,” Khursheed said.

He added that the agreed deal is no nuclear agreement which cannot be tabled before parliamentarians.

“Government’s agenda is to rule after annihilating the public. We are talking about improving the affairs, not disrupting them. Running a government is not something a selected individual can do”, the PPP stalwart said.
