LAHORE: Police on Saturday registered a case against Dolphin Force officials including the prime suspect Haseeb after a vociferous protest by the bereaved family over the killing of a pedestrian woman in an alleged encounter.
As per details, the case was registered on the application of the deceased woman Nasreen’s husband who has nominated Dolphin Force officials.
According to the FIR, officials of Dolphin Force’s squad number 129 including the prime suspect Haseeb were nominated in the case. The case was registered under section 302 of PPC and section 155 of Police Order.
According to sources, the Dolphin Force officials, after the incident have also misbehaved with the bereaved family and warned them of the severe consequences.
It is pertinent to mention here that a pedestrian woman was killed in Lahore on Friday in the firing of Dolphin Force officials.
The police officials, however, assured to take strict action against the involved officials according to law.
