ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Friday foiled a bid to smuggle a huge quantity of heroin worth millions of rupees in the international market and arrested a suspect.
According to details, the ASF, during the search of the luggage of a passenger Zahid leaving for Manchester through private airline at Islamabad International Airport, recovered 10.32 kilogrammes heroin from secret cavities of his bag.
The ASF offloaded and arrested the accused Zahid hailing from Gujrat who was later handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) along with recovered drug for further investigation.
