According to a survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has topped performance charts against chief ministers of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.
The survey was conducted by Gallup on the holistic performance of all chief ministers in the previous year. 37 per cent of population termed CM Buzdar’s performance good, followed by chief minister KP at 34 percent, chief minister Balochistan at 30 per cent and then chief minister Sindh 27 per cent.
Furthermore, 60 percent of Pakistanis (a consolidated figure for those who voted for his performance as very good, good and appropriate) are satisfied with the performance of the chief minister Punjab.
During the survey, 67 per cent women respondents are reported to be satisfied with Buzdar’s performance, whereas, for their male counterparts, the figure is 58 per cent.
A large chunk of the young population i.e. 65 percent of youngsters is satisfied with CM Buzdar, the survey stated.
