Dr Salman Shah appointed as CM Buzdar’s adviser on finance

LAHORE: The Punjab government has appointed former finance minister and economist Dr Salman Shah as the adviser to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on economic affairs and planning.

A notification has also been issued in this regard. Buzdar has directed Salman Shah to immediately take charge of his new responsibility.

Earlier, CM’s former adviser Akram Chaudhry was requested to step down from his post after the number count for CM’s advisers reached its constitutional limit. Salman Shah has been appointed in place of Akram Chaudhry.

Dr Salman Shah has served as the finance minister in former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s government.
