Six killed, eight injured as van catches fire in Kashmore

KASHMORE: Six people including two children and two women were killed and eight others injured after the gas cylinder of a passenger van exploded near Toll Plaza in Kashmore on Tuesday.

According to details, the van travelling from Kandhkot to Kashmore caught fire after the gas cylinder of the van exploded near the toll plaza. As a result, six people, including two children and two women suffered severe burn injuries and died on the spot, while eight others sustained injuries.

Receiving information about the incident, rescue teams and police reached the spot and shift the injured to a burns ward in Rahim Yar Khan, while the bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital Kashmore.
