National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has said that despite the challenges and pressures he is facing he will not back off from his mission of holding the corrupt accountable, a local news outlet reported on Friday.

Reportedly, Justice (r) Iqbal was pressurised to drop some references but the anti-graft watchdog’s chairman expressed resolve and said that he is not afraid of anyone except God. He said that he does not care about the pressure and will continue performing his duties with utmost honesty.

When the news outlet tried to contact the NAB chairman, he refused to comment on the matter or verify the authenticity of the reports.
