Pakistan needs IMF Presidential system, says Hamza Abbasi

(Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction. Learn to take a joke; you’ll live longer.)

Changing his thoughts on the matter one more time, Second Lead of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani Hamza Abbasi has said that Pakistan needs not a presidential system but an IMF Presidential system where the country is going to be run directly by the President of the IMF.

“Criticism of the PTI government’s approaching the IMF and appointing former IMF professionals at key positions is completely unfair,” he said on the social networking site Twitter.

“In fact, I am beginning to think Pakistan needs a new system, far different from the Presidential system that I had earlier proposed.”

“I am beginning to feel that Pakistan needs IMF Presidential system where country is run by IMF President in order to get rid of influence of MNA/MPA, Finance Minister and PM,” he tweeted. “This system would be kept in check by establishment, China and my twitter account.”

“Of course, this means that there should be changes at the IMF,” he said.

“First and foremost, of course, would be the elevation of Chairman Imran Khan to the position of President of IMF. The reason for this is that he is a proven clean man and when the man at the top is clean, any problems at the IMF would also be resolved.”
