LONDON – The anti-establishment party taking root in affluent parts of London, as reported by The Dependent earlier this week, has finalised its name for the upcoming European Parliament elections.

The party, led by business magnates from the Raiwind town of Punjab’s capital Lahore, taking advantage of the continued uncertainty over Britain’s departure from the European Union, will be formally launched in the coming week as Parklane Mayfair League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The PML-N, with its slogan ‘Brexit vote ko izzat do’ aimed against Remainers, is expected to cater simultaneously to the pro-Brexit populace, the business community, and the large Punjabi diaspora in the UK.

The PML-N is expected to not only contest the European Parliament elections which will be held May 23-26, it is also ready to fight the general elections in the UK should they be called before the current October 31 deadline for Britain’s formal secession from the EU.

In case the PML-N isn’t allowed to contest the British of the EU elections, the anti-establishment party is all set to take to the streets to protest against the invisible forces currently at work to dismantle democracy in the UK and all over the European Union.

“Parklane Mayfair League-Nawaz is a name close to our hearts, truly represents who we are, and underlines our achievements in Britain,” said PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif, while talking to The Dependent.

“We are just waiting for our spiritual leader to join us so that we can initiate our rule over the United Kingdom and then the European Union.”
