RAW, NDS using proxies for implementation of ‘73 constitution, warns Awan

The Indian and Afghan intelligence agencies are using proxies within Pakistan that would implement the 1973 Constitution in the country. These were the words of information minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, speaking at the Press Information Department in Islamabad, Pakistan.

“Both RAW and NDS are involved in this sinister game of proxies and rights.”

“Look at the words and language of Manzoor Pashteen and his PTM,” she said. “If you scratch the surface, you will see a clear foreign agenda that wants to see civil rights in Pakistan.”

“Yes, some of their slogans against state agencies are harsh and objectionable, but those could still be tolerated,” she continued. “But their larger narrative of the protection of the rights and liberties of all the citizens of Pakistan, is where things get really fishy.”

“We had better nib such tendencies in the bud,” she added. “There is a time and place for constitutional rights. This country is not that place.”
