Bid to smuggle heroin foiled

KARACHI: The customs officials foiled a bid to smuggle heroin worth Rs10 million abroad and arrested a drug pusher at Karachi Airport on Tuesday.

The customs officials said that during a search of the luggage of a passenger leaving for a foreign country through an international airline flight at Jinnah International Airport Karachi, heroin worth ten million rupees in the international market was recovered.

The customs department seized the recovered drug, offloaded and arrested the drug pusher who was later handed over to ANF for further investigation.
