The wife and son of former federal minister for education Baligh Ur Rehman died while three others were injured when their car overturned due to speeding near Toba Tek Singh on Monday.
According to details, family of the former minister was on its way to Bahawalpur from Islamabad when their car turned turtle near Gojra Interchange. Baligh’s wife and son, identified as Wali ur Rehman, died in the accident while three others including his other son, a daughter and the driver were seriously injured.
The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities where condition of the wounded people was also stated to be critical.
