Two children among three killed in road mishaps

KARACHI: Three people, including two minor children, were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Monday.

According to rescue sources, a six-year-old unknown girl was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle in Fareed Colony Orangi town. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. However, Police have started the search for his arrest.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a 35-year-old, Shahid and a three-year-old Haris were hit by a fast-moving vehicle near Dadabhoy Cement Factory on Superhighway. As a result, they sustained severe injuries and died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for autopsies.
