At least six people were killed and several others injured in an armed clash between two tribes in Rajanpur district on Saturday.
According to police, the clash started due to a petty conflict over a motorcycle.
The two sides exchanged harsh words at first, but the situation quickly turned into a physical fight and members of the two sides started throwing kicks and punches at each other before resorting to firing in Rojhan Katch tehsil, killing two people on the spot while injuring seven others.
The injured and bodies were taken to the district headquarter hospital, where four people succumbed their wounds, raising the death toll to six.
The exchange of fire continued till the filing of this report as more policemen were called in to control the situation.
