KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday forcefully transferred as much as 85 air hosts and air hostesses to Islamabad from Karachi.
According to sources, PIA’s administration has made major reshuffles in its Flight Operation Departments and transferred 85 of its air hosts and hostesses to Islamabad.
Sources have further revealed that most of the air hostesses belong to Karachi and are facing difficulty after this recent reshuffle.
However, the spokesperson of the PIA has said that it is a routine transfer and most of the people who were transferred were living in hostels in Karachi.
We need more staff there in Lahore and Islamabad so the authorities have decided to transfer the staff from Karachi, the spokesperson added.
