Five killed, 21 injured in road mishaps

Five people, including a child, were killed and 21 others injured in two different road accidents in Balochistan’s Gwadar and Nushki districts on Saturday.

According to Deputy Commissioner Gawadar Captain (r) Waseem Ahmed, two fast-moving pick-up vehicles collided with each other in Kuldaan area of Gawadar. As a result, four people, including a child suffered severe injuries and died on the spot, while 18 others were injured.

The bodies and injured were shifted to the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Hospital. Hospital sources said six injured are in critical condition adding that two of them have been shifted to Karachi due to severe injuries.

Separately, a man was killed and three others injured when a passenger coach collided with a car at the national highway near Nushki. The body and injured were shifted to district hospital Nushki.
