LAHORE: Amidst the ongoing political crisis after the recent reshuffle in the federal cabinet, disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Khan Tareen held meetings with over a dozen members of the National Assembly in the last 24 hours.
The former PTI secretary general met NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and ruling MNAs including Abdul Shakoor Shad, Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, Abdul Ghaffar Wattoo, Raja Riaz, Chaudhry Raza Nasrullah Ghumman, Javed Warraich and Faizullah Kamoka amongst others.
Tareen also held meetings with parliamentarians from other parties, including Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s (MMA) Munir Khan, Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) Ghaus Bakhsh Khan Mahar and an independent Mohammad Aslam Bhootani.
The PTI stalwart assured the parliamentarians to help resolve their constituency problems. Matters pertaining to the political situation and state affairs also came under discussion.
